Forest and Protected Areas of Trinidad and Tobago

The Project Coordination Unit for the Improving Forest and Protected Area Management in Trinidad and Tobago (IFPAMTT) project partnered with the Institute of Marine Affairs in the hosting of the Institute's Community Symposium in October 2018. This edition of the Symposium was hosted at the Betsy's Hope/Louis D'Or Multipurpose Facility in Tobago. 

The activity was promoted as a "Fish Broth and Talk" session at which the audience was able to discuss the information shared in the presentations over a sumptuous cup of fish broth. 

The IFPAMTT project joined again with the IMA in hosting a Secondary School Symposium the day after the Community Symposium, at which the importance of protecting the North East Tobago marine area was shared.  Enjoy viewing some of the presentations shared at these Symposia at the following links:
